Library Internship Programme at Central Library IGNOU, Delhi.

University Library, IGNOU has an ongoing Library Internship programme. Under the programme, Internees are deployed in the library on monthly stipends as various types of trainees depending upon the qualifications.
Trainees (Jr.) B.Lib/ BLIS/ BCA/DOEACC(A) / equivalent Rs.6000/-
Trainees (Sr.)
M.Lib/M.L.I.S/ AIS or DRTC (exam appeared)/ MCA/B.Tech/B.E/ PGDLAN/PGDCA/DOEACC(B)/ equivalent ORB.Lib/ BLIS/ BCA/DOEACC `A'/ equivalent with 6 months experience. Rs.8000/-
Library Trainee (UG) D.Lib / DLIS/ CLIb./CLIS /CIC/ Diploma in computer science/DOE ACC(O) /equivalent Rs.4500/-
Interseted students can apply for internship programme at the University Library, IGNOU Delhi. The interested candidates may apply in the application form in the given format available on the website with the attested copies of certificates. The applicants shall be considered for appropriate type of library trainees for which requirement arise during the year. The selected internees shall have no right for claiming regular appointment in the University.
